I sprained my ankle, I tore my ACL, I have plantar fascitis, I have a rotator cuff tear.
We hear many different terms from family, friends and co-workers but what do these injuries mean?
What anatomical structures are involved and are their any good treatments or preventative measures I can take to avoid these injuries?
These terms do not have to be as confusing as they are. With a basic understanding of anatomy and physiology you will be able to understand what exactly a herniated disc means. I’ll also provide you with some ways to prevent common injuries.
